Malia Marcelene Turns TWO!

On June 18th, we celebrated a joyous event, Malia had a birthday and is now the tender age of TWO! Let me tell you the Terrible Two's have already kicked in. I thought we would go to the movies during the day and have fun, but little Malia had different plans. We went to see the Water Horse, not the greatest show but it was that or Marley and Me and I heard that it wasn't a good one to take kids to. We sit down and watch the movie for like 10 minutes and broke out the candy for our kids to eat. Another 5 minutes down and Im thinking "Hey this is turning out great" and then it started. Malia is throwing her candy and screaming. I took her out and told her she needed to be quiet and we went back inside. As soon as we sit down she started screaming again so of course we had to leave and I thought maybe she was thirsty , so I bought all three kids a drink and sat back down. More screaming and her pop goes flying all over the floor. AGHHHHHHHHHHH! Finally, we had enough and went home after only seeing half of the movie. The conclusion: Malia and movie theaters dont MIX! and I bought a summer movie ticket for her. Oh well.

She was more pleasant after a good lunch and a nap and was excited for her party later that day. We invited Grandma and Grandpa Clark, Aunt Collette and the Andersons, our neighbors across the street, to have a BBQ Party. Malia loved all the attention from everyone and loved opening her presents and the best part, eating cake (well the frosting anyway). Malia got mostly clothes from us and grandparents and she will look so adorable in them. The nieghbors gave her a book, which has become her favorite, some sand toys, and a water floaty for the pool. Hopefully our year of being TWO is not too TERRIBLE! We can only wish!

Malia was hillarious and had to show Grandpa each present she got. What a cutie!

Happy Birthday Malia Girl! We love you!

Dancer of the Year!

On May 30, Bailee had her end of the year recital. She was SO excited to dance in front of everyone and to be in her pretty costume. Bailee has been taking ballet and tap since the beginning of September and she loves it. Ahh taking after her mother I guess. Grandma Judy flew in for the special day and Aunt Megan and Bella came as well. Bailee did a great job dancing and even WON the Dancer of the Year award in her division. Way to go Bailee!! I was so proud of her, my little dancer! This is her dance teacher who Bailee always has a smile for.Grandma Judy and Bailee sharing a sweet moment

Power of Coupons and Preschool Graduation

We have had a busy week! Well I have anyway. My friend got me started on shopping with coupons and I have been addicted. It is so fun and also confusing at times. Thanks to the internet for allowing me to print coupons, and my friend for showing how to put the items together that will be the most beneficial. I had my first shopping trip at Albertsons the other day and I was so excited to see what I could get without spending alot. It made grocery shopping a little more fun. This is what I bought:

4 pkgs of Wheat Thins
6 BBQ sauce

2 pkgs of hot dogs
3 6-pack hersheys chocolate
3 pkgs of marshmellows
1 container of ice cream
1 2 liter of pop
4 Skintimate shave gels
3 pkgs of honey maid graham crackers
2 Darigold chocolate milks

and the grand total of what I paid after coupons...... is..............$8.68! Wow isn't that crazy. Now only if my coupon inserts come in the mail soon, so I can have LOTS more coupons to save. Braden also graduated from Pre-school and had a program with lots of songs they have learned over the year and ended with a ice cream party afterwards. Braden sure loved going to preschool and has learned alot too. What a smart little boy we have, and a handsome one too! Here are some pictures of him at preschool

Now he is off to Kindergarten and is all grown up! :(

A Great Mother's Day

I must say I have the greatest husband and kids! They spoiled me this year and I loved it!
Bailee and Braden made me some cool gifts at school and little Malia made an adorable handprint at nursery for me. Bailee made me a keychain that spells MOM, and Braden made a bookmark with his picture on it and some flower seeds.
Even Cameron made a wonderful dinner of steak and pototaoes and the kids helped him make a dessert pizza. We invited Grandma and Grandpa Clark, Collette, and Kelsey to come and have some wonderful dessert. I love my family very much and I'm grateful for them everyday!

Its Finally Done!

We have completed our remodel of our master bathroom, and I LOVE it! Cameron did a great job with the tile work, and I did a great job painting. Also we had to buy our mirrors, much to our dismay. The previous mirror was glued so much it was impossible to take down without breaking. Here are some pictures of our "new" bathroom.

Here Comes Peter Cottentail!

We had a great Easter! On Saturday, we went to Jerome to Grandma and Grandpa's ward breakfast and egg hunt. It was cold but the kids loved eating pancakes, doing a cupcake walk, where each of them won, and finally ending the morning with a Easter Egg Hunt! Malia sure loved picking up the eggs and most of all eating the surprises inside. Bailee and Braden also loved finding the eggs and got quite the collection. They even shared the loot with Mom and Dad. (we have sweet kids) Later that evening we invited our nieghbors over to color eggs and had so much fun. Between the eight kids around my tiny kitchen table we had only two spilled cups of dye, not bad! They loved coloring eggs and couldn't wait for their next egg. Even Malia had fun with her egg. She colored on it with crayon and then decided it was better to smash the egg instead of making it pretty. Here is Bailee helping our neighbor Penny with her egg.
Sunday morning was fun too. The Easter bunny came and left goodies for everyone and hid the kids baskets throughout the house. The crazy bunny hid Bailee's basket in the dryer. Silly old rabbit! Braden's was hid in the game closet. Then it was a quest to find those easter eggs from last night. Easter is fun but we will never forget why we celebrate Easter and we tried hard to let our kids know the real reason. I think they get it. Here is our cute little family all dressed up.

The Clark Family Update

We have been very busy and my blog has suffered from it! We decided to remodel our bathroom. We ripped up the lanoleum(I know the spelling isn't right ) and took the tile off the front of our tub. We are putting tile on the floor and on the front of tub as well. We also have a huge mirror we are going to take down and make two mirrors out of it. Hopefully we are able to get it down without it breaking, wish us LUCK! Cameron has a love hate relationship with the demo, too much work! I will be thrilled when it is all done and looking magnificent. I have been busy taking pictures for my photography class. I have had so much fun looking for some great spots. For one of our assignments we had to stop action and blur action. Here is what I got.

The water pictures are taken at Niagra Springs in Jerome.

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Yesterday was a BIG day for Cameron he turned 30!! I know this post is a day late but oh well. Yesterday was so crazy getting everything ready for the party and deep cleaning the kids bedrooms, cleaning the rest of the house and decorating Cam's cake I fell behind on blogging Cameron's special day. I tried to have a surprise party for him but of course he found out! I had a bunch of his friends come over to help celebrate with him. Its crazy to think the friends he hangs out with, are the friends he had since high school.

I have to admit my husband is the best looking guy ever!!

I also have to admit my cake I decorated for Cam looked so good, even though it took like two hours to do it.

I just wanted to say Thank You Cam for all that you do for our family and we love you tons!

Picture Tag

I was tagged to do the fourth picture in the fourth folder so here it is.
This is Bailee swimming at the city pool. Our friend's dad won a prize to have the city pool all to himself so they invited us to play. It was in April so the bubble was on, but we didn't care. We were swimming in April!!

POOP STAINS!!

Our family loves poopstains! Yep its true, gross as it may be, but they are yummy! I had a craving for these tasty treats and decided to eat them. We refer to no bake cookies as poopstains. It all started when my brothers were young and my mother made them all the time for them. Coming from little boys and not being clean in all the right places, they thought they looked like poopstains. So the name stuck and all of us now refer to these delicatable treats as POOP STAINS! So I hope I didn't gross out anybody or made you crave some chocolate goodness.

Photos of My Darling Kids

My mother made this adorable little tutu's for all her granddaughters for Christmas. I decided to have some fun and take a little photo shoot of them. Malia was so happy and loved the attention, but Bailee would only pose for one picture and she was done. I guess as you get older, the less you want your picture taken. I'm still trying to work my new camera and I think the setting is not right one this picture of Bailee. (what do you think Kerrianne?) Malia was shaking her booty in her little tutu and always gave me a big cheesy smile.

Braden had the opportunity to ride on the big 4-Wheeler. Boy was he excited to go around the block with one of our nieghbors. Boys and thier toys! After his ride he asked if we could buy one. Yeah, in your dreams!Malia's hair is finally getting longer in the front and I love doing her hair. She also likes getting her hair done. Maybe, its because she gets to play in the sink. This is her first time with pig tails and I think she is such a cutie. My little baby is getting so big!

Hop 2 It

Can I just say this is the greatest place on earth for kids! Send them loose and let them get all thier energy out in a hour or less. Of course the parents can play too which is awesome!

In case you dont know what Hop 2 It is, I will tell you. It is a huge indoor playground with lots of those really big bouncy toys you see at the fairs. There is a huge slide which is our families favorite, an area with balls, (the ones that used to be at McDonalds a long time ago), and the concessions are all a dollar or less. How can you go wrong with that!
We have gone here a few times and we just love it. Why didn't we think of building a place like this. We could have been rich. Here are a few pictures of our crazy adeventure.
