Sledding Fun

It finally snowed so we took full advantage and went sledding in our neighborhood. It was Malia's first time and she loved it, even the cold snow didn't bother her. We had a great time and loved spending time with our family. Even mommy and daddy took a few rides down the hill.
This is Bailee taking down Braden. It was quite funny actually and was surprised I got it on camera!

Happy Sledding!

Christmas 2009

Santa did come this year and left all sorts of wonderful things. We were defiantly spoiled this year. Bailee had asked Santa for an art set, Braden wanted an Indiana Jones whip, and Malia wanted anything ELMO! Guess what? Santa left exactly those things at our house! We discovered these items when we got up at 7:45 to wake up the kids, you would think that they would be the ones waking us up! Due to the lack of picture taking this year we failed to capture what Santa brought and our stockings. Maybe next year mommy will be more diligent on capturing these moments. We however, snapped a few pictures of the other presents the kids received this year.

Bailee got a easy bake oven, a Hanah Montana hoodie, an old navy fleece pullover, freindship braclet maker, weaving loom, jonas brothers movie and a new wii game. I guess Bailee's theme would be Crafty
Braden got his whip, an old navy jacket, a new radio, some wii games his favorite being lego rockband. (That I stood in line for at old navy for 3 hours in the bitter cold) Braden also got some new school pants, star wars lounge pants, and a really cool nerf gun.

Malia got a Elmo cd player with 4 interchangeable plastic cd's, an Elmo hoodie, Elmo blocks, land before time movie, color wonder marker set, and a new Elmo movie!

As a family we got Rockband and we have been having a blast playing it. After a morning of playing with our new stuff we headed down to Grandma Lindas to hang out with family! We loved being around each other and ate lots of great food. What a great day. Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!

We loved spending Christmas Eve at home and had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa Clark, Collette and Kelsy. We had a yummy dinner which consisted of ham, rolls, relish tray, crackers and dip and ended with eating cookies for dessert. After dinner was all cleared and put away we had a wonderful time reading about the real Christmas Story. Daddy read to us from the scriptures and the best comment of the night was from Braden: "Pregnant women should not ride donkeys." We all had a good laugh.

We have a tradition in our home where each child gets to open gifts that his/her siblings gave to them. This is the part where the kids go all crazy and hyper! Bailee received a sticker maker and was so happy she started making stickers right away. Braden got a racing set with motorcycles and Malia received a brand new baby!

Christmas Eve wouldn't be the same if we didn't get any fun Jammies to wear!

We had a great evening and ended the night by Bailee reading to us the book, The Night Before Christmas and left a plate of cookies for the man in a red suit to enjoy. I heard this year that Chocolate chip cookies were his favorite. Sorry reindeers no carrots for you this year, we ran out!

As the children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in thier heads. Mama in her kerchief, and I in my cap, had just settled down for a long winter's nap.
Will Santa comes this year? We will found out!

Have A Holly Jolly Christmas

We managed to get a few pictures of our family dressed up before we headed out to church. Is anyone else as busy as us? Between work for Cameron and I and all the Christmas concerts, cleaning, baking and more cleaning who has time to blog or yet alone to sit down for more than a few minutes! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Braden's Birthday (better late than never)

We had a wonderful time celebrating Braden's 6th Birthday. My mom and my sister joined us for the festivities and we had so much fun. Each year our kids get to choose what resturant they want their birthday dinner at. The winner this year......Gerties! If you are not a resident of Twin Falls then let me enlighten you. Its an all you can eat pizza place that has the best Chicken Ranch Cashew pizza you'll ever eat, and their dessert pizzas rock too. Literally we stuff ourselves to the point of engorgement, but its fun to get all the different varieties. We have the best time when we are all together as you can see.

Braden also had a friend party at a bowling alley which was the greatest idea ever! The kids had a hour of bowling and each spent $1.50 on the arcade and of course they all had yummy birthday cake. I liked it because I didn't have to have it inside our home. As for most of the days in October, it was a little chilly. Braden loved being the center of attention and had a wonderful birhtday. We love you buddy

This Handsome Boy is Six Today!

Yeah! Braden turns SIX today! All week is has been counting down the days with a paper chain Bailee made for him. I cant believe my boy is growing up so fast. We sure love you Braden and thank you for six wonderful years. Here are some pictures of the cutest baby ever! The quality isn't the greatest, I took the picture off the picture, but it will work just fine. Don't you just want to give those cheeks a good squeeze! This is Braden when he was 3 months. This is when he was six months, and yet he still makes that face

Bradens Soccer Game!

This fall, Braden has been playing Soccer! It was his first time playing and I think he liked it. Kindergarten Soccer is entertaining to watch and sometimes very stressful! Some boys would go the wrong way, making it easier for the other team to score and one time they actually scored for the other team! Braden even scored a couple of times which he thought was the coolest thing. Even though our team never won it was fun to see them try. To end the season everyone received a medal. Hopefully, Braden will want to play next fall, for he could be pretty good with a little more practice.

Pocatello Marathon!

The Pocatello Marathon was upon us after 3 LONG months of training. We spent Labor day weekend in Pocatello enjoying good friends and family and many nights of eating out! The best part of our trip for the kids was our hotel. Isn't it crazy how the simple things make children the happiest. A week before, Cameron hurt his knee running and was a little nervous on how his knee was going to feel after running 26.2 miles, but he did AWESOME! He had many supporters who cheered him on and we were all glad when he made it at the finish line four and a half hours later. Cameron made a goal for himself to finish it under four hours, but with his knee it slowed him down. I think he still made great timing though, afterall it being his first marathon. I asked him after the race if he was going to run another one and the answer is probably not, maybe half marathon. Apparently that extra 13 miles is torture. Here are some pictures of our "Runner"

We've Survived!

We have survived the first week of school! Yeah for us! The summer of waking up whenever we wanted has offically ended and its back to the rise of the sun. I think Mom is the only one who is still getting used to the idea of being up so early. Bailee is now in 2nd grade and is loving it, hopefully, she will still love school a few months in. She also has a teacher who seems nice and fun. Bailee is growing up so fast and pretty soon she will be in high school! sniff, sniff.

This is the only picture I took of Bailee for we still had to get Braden settled in and school was going to start in a few minutes. She looks so happy to be at school.

Braden's day had come to start Kindergarten! He was thrilled to be in the same school as Bailee and loved it when his friends were in the same class. (Poor teacher) He loves learning and I'm sure he will be a great student

Braden also has a great teacher, the same teacher Bailee had for Kindergarten. Braden has AM Kindergarten so I was able to take pictures without the craziness of everyone after school. I sure do miss my cuties while they are having fun at school, but I also love the quietness of just me and Malia. She has become my shopping buddy and we have FUN!
